Inyati (Buffalo) and Bhejane (Rhino) were the original chalets to be established on the property. Perfectly designed to cater to families and small groups of friends.
Both chalets offer superb views of the Kruger National Park, with wonderful seating under the trees and an outdoor barbeque (braai) area overlooking the Crocodile River.
The units sleep six guests and have two separate bedrooms, which are air-conditioned; the master bedroom has a king-sized bed, plenty of wardrobe space and a large dressing table. A glass sliding door leads onto the patio with magnificent views of the Kruger.
The second bedroom has two single beds, and also offers a wardrobe.
The units offer one bathroom with a shower, washbasin and toilet, and a second toilet separately.
The living room area offers comfortable seating, and a fold-out sleeping couch, which the staff can make up upon request. Both units also offer a TV with a full DSTV bouquet.
The kitchens are fully equipped including a microwave, oven, stove, kettle and toaster.
Both units offer under-roof parking and are situated close to the communal swimming pool area.
Ingulule (Cheetah) is a luxury five-sleeper log cabin. The cabin is raised on stilts, offering panoramic views of the Kruger National Park.
The bedroom is air-conditioned and features a king-sized bed and a three-quarter bed. It also has an en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet.
The lounge area is also air-conditioned and features a television, along with a couch that can be converted into a double sleeper couch. This suite is ideal for families. (Please note that there is only one bathroom, and the guests sleeping in the lounge area will need to walk through the master bedroom to make use of it.)
The bedroom opens onto a small viewing deck, which has a well-equipped kitchenette and a dining table, also used as the living room area.
The kitchenette does not have an oven, but it does have a stovetop, a microwave, and a lovely, open-air barbeque (braai) area in front of the log cabin, offering an authentic African experience.
Family and friends can sit around the fire as the sun goes down and listen to the bush come alive at night.
Imvubu (Hippo) is a raised, fully self-catering thatched log cabin. It’s perfect for viewing wildlife that comes to drink at the river. Favourites include huge herds of elephants and buffalo, which enjoy taking a wallow in the refreshing water.
Imvubu is a one-bedroom log cabin, which sleeps four guests. The sleeping configuration offers a king-sized bed, and fold-out sleeper couch, which can be made up upon request by the staff. The cabin is air-conditioned and has an en-suite glass shower and basin with a separate toilet.

Ndlovu (Elephant) was the first log cabin built at Elephant Walk Retreat. Over the years, this lovely log cabin has accommodated small families and couples from around the world.
Also raised on stilts, this air-conditioned log cabin features one bedroom which can sleep up to five guests. It offers a king-sized bed, a three-quarter bed and a foldout sleeper couch, which can be made up upon request.

This beautiful, air-conditioned luxury log cabin, situated above the fence line bordering the Kruger National Park, was named after the magnificent short-tailed African eagle, the Bateleur.
You should keep an eye out for this iconic bird while on your safaris in Kruger National Park or simply relaxing on the deck, looking out into the park.

It offers roll-down canvas in case of inclement weather, and a roof fan, washbasin and separate toilet.
The deck area has a dining table and a well-equipped kitchenette; it does not offer an oven but has a microwave and stove. A barbeque (braai) area is also provided below the entrance to the log cabin.
The log cabin can accommodate up to six guests (but please note two of the guests will sleep on the outside deck). It is also a popular and romantic option for couples, where the outside room can be used as a relaxation area. This suite also offers WIFI.
